(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takahiro Yamashita; hereinafter “R-Square”). The new entity will operate as Xpotential Inc. (pronounced “Exponential”, hereinafter “Xpotential”) starting January 1, 2024.
Background and Purpose of the Merger
Tokihanatsu was established in February 2023 has rapidly expanded to commercialize concept of “sales enablement,” knowledge gained by the growth of portfolio companies of Midas Capital, combined with its unique strengths in data science. Meanwhile, R-Square was founded by Takahiro Yamashita, who previously served as the Head of Sales Enablement at Salesforce, Inc. with a vision to further disseminate the concept of enablement. R-Square has pioneered the “systematization of enablement” and establish a solid track record.
The purpose of this merger is to accelerate and maximize the penetration of sales enablement by integrating Tokihanatsu’s strengths in AI and data analytics with R-Square’s extensive expertise and achievements. The merger is expected to take effect on January 1, 2024. However, to deliver value to client companies as early as possible, the two companies have already begun pre-merger collaboration, including the development of new service packages by leveraging their respective strengths.
